Fortune Teller Cups
Coffee reading fortune telling is a tradition where fortune tellers use Turkish coffee (or any coffee that has grinds that sits at the bottom of the cup) to tell the drinker's fortune. After the drinker have had their coffee, the teller covers the cup with the saucer and turn it upside down, gives it a little time to dry before the reading begins.

Why Is There Ants On My Porcelain, again?
Not long ago, I've posted about the Ants on My Porcelain collection which received some wide attention [read some reviews here]. People were a little creeped out by how realistic the ants looks, and mostly agreed that they can't drink from it and would probably use it to prank someone.
Another question was why would anyone put ants a cup? So, to answer the question... I wrote a little email to the designer asking her about the design, here's what she said:
I'm subconsciously inspired by everything and anything in life. I truly
believe that the culmination of my memories, thoughts, travels and everyday
life are what help inspire my designs.
Specifically for the Ant Series, I simply like the form/ shape ants make
when they are all gathered around their "treat." I wanted to represent them
in a fun, humorous way on dishware, so that people can enjoy them as design.
My intentions are not to shock or disgust, but to amuse!
So now you know why there is ants on the porcelain.
